Tel Basta began as a muscial experiment during the etheral pop/4AD explosion in a lower Haight Street flat in San Francisco in 1991. The band consisted of (left to right), Brett Klinker, Pine, and Daniel James. When it was over, 3 CD's and 5 years later, Tel Basta had achieved in creating a sound that was wholly their own. Sometimes pure light and joy, sometimes dark and somber.
A big thank you to Bruce Levin, Tim Jones,Jason Kleinburg, and Mark Spasic for being part of the band, may your journeys through life be joyous and inspired.
